Youth beaten to death in Panjab at Golden Temple in Amritsar after alleged sacrilege bid :-
The police have registered a case of attempt to murder against the youth who was lynched on the charge of sacrilege of the Guru Granth Sahib in the Golden Temple.
Police have registered a case against the slain youth under section 307 (attempt to murder) and section 295A (outraging religious feelings).
The identity of the slain youth is yet to be ascertained as no ID card has been recovered from him.
SIT has been constituted by the state government to investigate the matter, which is going to give the report within two days.
Meanwhile, CCTV footage of railway station and bus stand is being scrutinized to identify the youth who was killed on the charge of sacrilege.
The sacrilege case has gained momentum in the Golden Temple,
one of the holy religious places of the Sikhs. Concerns are being expressed continuously regarding the issue of political corridors.
At the same time, the Sikh community demonstrated in Srinagar against the sacrilege incident in Amritsar. His demand was that such incidents should be strictly stopped.
